Transportation
Teams normally arrange their own transportation
to San Antonio, Texas where we are prepared to meet
them. If arriving Sunday, Hotel accommodations must
be made well in advance.
From San Antonio the drive to Mexico can be three
to five hours. We currently work in the "Cities
of the Five Springs" area, Nava, Allende, Morelos,
Zaragoza and Villa Union, Coahuila Mexico. We cross
the border into Mexico through Eagle Pass, Texas.
The Cities of the Five Springs" area is approx.
35 miles south of the border.
Cost
The
cost of a team at present is approx. $14,000.00.
Average team size is 20-24 people. The funds are
raised by the prospective team and will cover the
costs of materials to build two homes and all meals
south of the border. It does not cover any cost north
of the Mexican border.
Throughout construction, individuals are encouraged
to spend time with the Mexican people, distribute
tracts, Bibles and literature, and evangelize in
the area. They are also welcome to be a part of the
Bible school classes that are held during the evenings
for the local colonial children.
